Puppy Training (under 5 months)
Build a strong foundation in house manners, socialization, and essential commands while addressing common puppy challenges.

For families who can’t attend group class, this one-on-one option introduces manners and skills tailored to your puppy’s needs.
Basic Manners & Obedience
Basic Obedience Training (5 months and older)
Teach your dog to listen, focus, and walk politely on leash with commands like stay, heel, and advanced loose-leash walking.

Basic In-Home Training & Behavior Support (Private)
Personalized at-home sessions for obedience, manners, and behavior challenges such as barking, front door greetings, and neighborhood walking.

Learn 10 tricks from the AKC Novice & 10 from the Intermediate Trick Dog lists. Earn official AKC titles and strengthen your bond while having fun!

Q: What is positive reinforcement dog training?
Positive reinforcement rewards desired behavior to increase likelihood of repetition.
Q: How long does dog training take?
Learning speed depends on consistency, environment, and the individual dog’s temperament.
Q: Are treats necessary for training?
Treats help communicate success quickly and are phased out to other forms of rewards.
Q: Can older dogs learn new behaviors?
Yes. Dogs of any age can learn with proper reinforcement.
Q: How old should my puppy be to start training?
We allow puppies as young as 8-9 weeks old in class, as long the puppy has been seen by a veterinarian and has had its second set of shots.
Q: What types of training do you offer?
We offer Puppy, Basic Obedience, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Trick Training. We also offer in-home training.
Q: Will my dog/puppy be able to socialize in class?
We allow puppies to have a group play time; however, in Basic Obedience, CGC, and Trick Training, we prefer the dog to focus on their owner and not the other dogs in class.
Q: Can I bring my aggressive dog to class?
Since we are dealing with multiple dogs in a small space, we do not work with aggressive dogs. However, we do work with some reactive dogs in class.
Q: What is your dog training style?
Through positive reinforcement methods we teach the dog the behavior we want and reward them for making the right choices. Positive training methods also help to form a bond with your dog.
